Kale Cleanser

Prep Time = 10 minutes

  • ½ bunch of kale, stems removed
  • 1 handful of cilantro, washed and chopped
  • Sea salt
  • Olive oil
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ avocado, cubed
  • ¼ cup of pomegranate seeds or dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup raw walnuts or pecans
  1. In a large bowl, place kale leaves and sprinkle with about ¼ teaspoon of sea salt.
  2. Drizzle with the juice of ½ of a lemon.
  3. Massage the sea salt and lemon into the kale as you break apart the leaves into bite size pieces.
  4. Once the texture of the kale has changed and the pieces are small, cut up your avocado and toss it into the salad.
  5. Rinse your cilantro and chop it.
  6. Add it to your kale.
  7. Toss in your nuts and drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons of preferred oil.
  8. Toss the salad and eat.
